Kathryn uses traditional skills to design silverware and uses sterling silver to create pieces including silver jugs, bowls and spoons. After achieving a first class BA(Hons) at Kent Institute of Art and Design Kathryn went on to study for an MA at the Royal College of Art, London. Her time there was used to explore ideas and created a range of award winning contemporary silverware.
The exhausted silverware collection explores the role of tableware with emphasis on their function as a tool and a playful comment on its exhaustion from overuse.
Kathryn's work has been exhibited in the UK and internationally.
