Internationally selling glass artist Lucy Alexandra Batt has created a retail range of tableware, offering handmade pieces produced in small batches that can be enjoyed by the owner as luxury homeware items.

 Intricately carved, these tactile pieces capture the essence of Lucy’s exclusive fine art work, whilst offering an entirely different prospect for the buyer.

 “The purpose of my retail range is embracing the challenge to make beautiful pieces that can also be functional objects.  I was drawn to glass as an artist because its creative potentials are vast, but I am also interested in exploring glass as a functional material that has been used for centuries, making vessels for practical use.  I like the idea that beautiful objects that we have in our homes can also be functional objects, enjoyed by the owner’s hands.”

Lucy has developed her own contemporary style, using stunning colour combinations.  Her intricate floral and abstract patterns create a play of texture and colour.
